Core Principles
Every model deployed within the RSK.Systems platform is governed by six non-negotiable design principles. These principles are not aspirational — they are enforced at the architectural level and independently verified before any model reaches production.
Every output includes traceable contributing factors. No black-box predictions — analysts can always see why a model reached a conclusion.
Model capability is matched to mission scope. No module processes data beyond what is operationally required for its stated purpose.
Models flag uncertainty explicitly. A low-confidence output is surfaced as such — never silently promoted to a high-confidence finding.
Production models are continuously evaluated against real-world outcomes. Drift is detected and remediated before it affects outputs.
Each model is trained and validated for specific operational tasks. Re-purposing a model outside its validated domain requires full re-evaluation.
Models inform. Humans decide. No RSK.Systems model has autonomous authority to trigger enforcement actions or irreversible outcomes.
RSK.Systems operates on the conviction that powerful predictive intelligence and rigorous ethical constraints are not in tension — they are mutually reinforcing. A model that cannot explain itself is a model that cannot be trusted. We build only models that can be trusted.
Model Transparency
Authorized Users interacting with RSK.Systems outputs have the right to understand the basis for any prediction or risk score. The following transparency mechanisms are embedded into every module at the output layer.
- Factor Attribution: Every risk score includes a breakdown of contributing factors, their individual weights, and their directional influence on the final output.
- Confidence Disclosure: Outputs explicitly state model confidence levels. Low-confidence outputs are visually flagged and include guidance on when additional corroboration is required.
- Model Version Stamping: Every output is stamped with the exact model version that produced it, enabling full reproducibility and audit capability.
- Audit Trail Integrity: All output generation events are logged in tamper-evident audit trails. These records are available to Authorized Users upon request and to RSK.Systems for compliance review at all times.
Bias Monitoring
Predictive models trained on real-world data inherit real-world inequities unless actively corrected. RSK.Systems applies continuous, multi-dimensional bias monitoring across all production models. The following metrics are evaluated in real-time and reported to the AI Governance team on a weekly basis.
Any module exceeding a calibration error of 0.10 or a demographic parity score below 0.90 is flagged for immediate review and removed from production pending remediation. There are no exceptions to this threshold — operational pressure does not override governance policy.
- Weekly Automated Reporting: Bias metrics for all production models are computed and logged automatically. Anomalies trigger immediate escalation to the AI Governance team.
- Quarterly Human Review: Beyond automated monitoring, all models undergo quarterly human-led bias audits conducted by analysts with no commercial stake in the results.
- Adversarial Testing: Models are regularly stress-tested against adversarially constructed inputs designed to surface edge-case biases not captured by standard metrics.
Prohibited Uses
The following use cases are explicitly outside the authorized scope of RSK.Systems models, regardless of operator permissions, contractual arrangements, or claimed operational necessity. These prohibitions are absolute.
Use of any RSK.Systems model to discriminate against individuals based on protected characteristics; to predict, target, or profile based on political beliefs, religious affiliation, or legally protected expression; or to automate enforcement actions without human review and independent corroboration.

Model Updates
RSK.Systems models are living instruments. The world they are trained to model is not static, and neither are the models themselves. All updates to production models follow a structured governance process that prioritizes stability, accuracy, and the preservation of existing validation guarantees.
- Versioned Releases: All model changes — including parameter updates, retraining runs, and architectural modifications — are released as numbered versions. No silent updates occur in production.
- Pre-Release Validation: Every candidate model version must pass the full RSK.Systems validation suite before promotion to production, including accuracy benchmarks, bias tests, and adversarial probes.
- Parallel Running Period: Major version changes run in parallel with the current production model for a minimum of 14 days before cutover, allowing output comparison and anomaly detection.
- Authorized User Notification: Material changes to model behavior — defined as output distribution shifts exceeding 5% — are communicated to Authorized Users at least 7 days before the change takes effect.
- Rollback Capability: All production model deployments maintain a rollback path to the prior stable version. Rollback can be executed within 4 hours of detection of a critical model failure.
RSK.Systems maintains an internal Model Registry documenting the training data provenance, validation results, deployment history, and incident record for every model version ever released to production. Authorized Users may request a summary of registry entries relevant to their operational context.
Human Oversight
RSK.Systems operates on a doctrine of Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) intelligence. Predictive models surface information and probabilities — they do not make decisions. Every consequential action derived from RSK.Systems outputs must pass through trained human analytical review.
No RSK.Systems output, regardless of confidence score or urgency, carries inherent authority to trigger enforcement, detention, financial action, or any other consequential real-world event without a trained human analyst reviewing the basis, considering alternative explanations, and making an independent judgment.
- Mandatory Analyst Review: All high-risk outputs (score ≥ 0.75) must be reviewed by a qualified analyst before being used as the basis for any operational recommendation.
- Corroboration Requirement: Outputs flagging individuals for elevated risk levels require independent corroboration from at least one non-model source before being presented to decision-makers as actionable intelligence.
- Override Logging: When analysts override model outputs — either escalating or de-escalating a recommendation — the override decision and rationale are logged. These records are used to improve future model performance.
- Analyst Training Requirements: Authorized Users operating at the individual-risk module level are required to complete RSK.Systems model literacy training before accessing those outputs. Training confirms understanding of model limitations, confidence calibration, and appropriate use boundaries.
Responsible Disclosure
RSK.Systems is committed to responsible disclosure — both in how we communicate model limitations to our users, and in how we receive and respond to external reports of model failures, unexpected outputs, or potential misuse. The following process governs all disclosure pathways.
If you observe model behavior that appears to produce systematically biased, unexplainable, or potentially harmful outputs, document the specific inputs, outputs, and context. Include model version stamps from the output audit trail.
Submit your report to info@rsk.systems with subject line "Model Disclosure." Include your organization, the affected module, and a factual description of the observed behavior. Do not publicly disclose until RSK.Systems has had the opportunity to investigate.
RSK.Systems commits to acknowledging all disclosure reports within 24 business hours. The acknowledgment will confirm receipt, assign an internal tracking number, and provide a preliminary assessment timeline.
Confirmed model behavior issues are remediated according to severity: Critical findings within 72 hours; High findings within 14 days; Medium findings in the next scheduled model update cycle. The reporting party is notified of findings and remediation timelines.
Governance & Accountability
The RSK.Systems AI Governance structure assigns clear ownership and accountability for model behavior at every level — from individual model decisions to platform-wide policy. Governance is not a compliance function. It is a core operational discipline.
- AI Governance Committee: A standing internal committee with authority to halt, modify, or retire any production model at any time. Meets monthly in standard operation; convenes within 24 hours in response to critical disclosures or incidents.
- Model Owners: Each production model is assigned a named Model Owner responsible for its performance, documentation, and compliance with this Policy. Model Owner identity is disclosed in the Model Registry.
- Annual External Audit: RSK.Systems engages independent third-party auditors to evaluate model governance practices against this Policy and applicable industry standards. Audit findings are reviewed by the AI Governance Committee and addressed in the subsequent planning cycle.
- User Accountability: Authorized Users bear responsibility for the decisions they make based on RSK.Systems outputs. The platform provides information and analysis — legal, ethical, and operational accountability for consequential actions rests with the user and their organization.
